2006 - A year of change
In 2006 I went from teaching yr 1- 7 how to swim one day to teaching yr 9 - 12 business and information technology, the next. The change was life changing. I have always lived by the motto "where there's a will there's a way" and I was very willing. The family business growing flowering potted plants that I had juggled with various part-time teaching employment for the past 20 years, was struggling under SE Qld drought conditions. I needed a new direction. This was going to be a challenge but I was sure I was up to it.
