Here are a selection of testimonials showing how I have supported my colleagues, particularly in the Vocational Education and Training area of Oakey State High School. We have one of the biggest VET programs in the Darling Downs area. Most of our students in Yr 11 and 12 participate in at least one VET certificate. Some participate in more.
"Jan has developed and designed the entire VET learning program and structure from scratch this year. She has done this to a very high standard. She has continually prepared resources especially booklets, e-learning sites etc.
Assessment tools are excellent, well designed and she has already shown evidence of reviewing tools for next year. Jan has participated in validation process and will continue to do so with IR process coming up. She works very well with catering for specific needs of her students. Her facilitation skills are excellent. Exceptional skills and record-keeping shown to support and monitor learning. System set up for students to give feedback ie cover sheets/emails.
E-learning fantastic- this has been set up and shared with others. Continually collaborating and sharing ideas with others especially with record-keeping, professional development plan templates etc.
I have worked with Jan closely from March 2006 until now. I have been her mentor and colleague. As her mentor I have sighted detailed evidence to support all the units of competency stated. We have worked through each unit and Jan has put together an extremely detailed and thorough folder demonstrating clearly her evidence and competence in all areas."
