Students as strategic learners

Students need to be able to set goals and achieve them. I endeavour to structure the learning environment to provide students with strategies to make "good" choices.

Enabling proficient use of ICT within the classroom leads to the necessary pathways to set and achieve such goals. The ability to sucessfully research information on the super highway of the World Wide Web provides students with unlimited knowledge and access to whatever information they may be seeking.

With knowledge depreciating at an ever increasing rate, students need to be more proficient at researching current information than ever before. Successful learners have knowhow and are independent learners. ICT is at the forefront of providing this independence.
